Game Development

Occasionally I will use my skills to create a game, most of these are group projects made to fit a brief as I prefer to stick to creating technical art, but I do intend to venture into solo development at a later date. Organized from most to least recent.

Particle Collection

I like to create different particle effects as a small side project to keep myself occupied and my Unreal Engine skills fresh. It keeps my skills sharp and gives me a chance to create some cool effects to go alongside my 3D art when it is imported.

VR Goose Fair
Job Simulator

In February 2024, I partnered up with a classmate for a college project, we were given the brief of promoting Nottingham and the freedom to do this through any game-related medium.

It was my responsibility to create every 3D model and texture for this game, as well as create the post process materials to go on top of them. This is what we created by June.

Into Games: Studio Live 2023

In June 2023 Into Games hosted an event in collaboration with Dambuster Studios called Studio Live. Where groups of students were chosen to come together and create for a client from a brief.

I was responsible for creating the hand models and posing them once they had been rigged for our final pitch.

Confetti  Game Jam 2023

In June 2023 I took part in my college's Game Jam, with the theme given as "Evolve", and a time limit of 2 weeks.

I primarily worked on the mechanics and the visuals of levels 1, 3 and 4.

VOLUME WARNING

Creative Project

In May 2023 we were tasked with our final project of the college year, creating whatever we want under the theme of "soft sci-fi". We were given no further direction, other than it had to be presented within the medium of Unreal Engine.

For my project I chose to design and create my own small scene showing off an "oxygen generator" design.
